Bob Jobs
Note: The following is an article written by Biker Pros for Brass Balls Bobbers. It’s designed to educate and inform enthusiasts about the history of Bobbers as well as Brass Balls’ new Model 1 motorbike. It’s runnng at Cycle Source, Brass Balls Bobbers & Bikernet
On a scale of 1 to 10, vintage bobbers have a cool factor of 10 and a reliability factor of 3. That is where Brass Balls Bobbers’ Model 1 steps in… it’s got the street cred of the traditional motorbike combined with current technology that delivers miles of effortless riding.
Vintage bikes in general and old Harley’s specifically break down, leak oil, don’t stop well and need constant babying.
So the question is, what if you could get the cool look of a vintage, but with the technology and comfort of a modern sled?

Brass Balls' Model 1
That is what the Brass Balls Bobbers’ Model 1 is about.
It has that race-inspired Hot Rod look dressed in flat black. It looks old school but is made with new tools. The Model 1 accelerates, turns and stops better than a lot of sports cars.
Back in the Day
Bobbers came into their own after the end of World War II, surplus motorcycles were cheap transportation for returning American vets.
Back in the day riders stripped their bikes of extraneous metal parts to lighten their loads, make them faster and more efficient. The resulting motorcycles are known as “bobbers” or “bob jobs,” distinguished by their truncated rear and tiny front fenders, bucking the then-current trends.
A Bobber is a style of custom bike that continues to be built today. Bobbers are related to choppers in that they both represent a minimalist approach where everything is stripped from a bike that is not readily needed.
As vets returned after the WWII war they began to form motorcycle clubs. Some of these clubs got very creative and started stripping down bikes to resemble those they saw across the pond.
The Traditional Model 1
Faster than a Mustang, stops like a carrier F-18 and gets attention like a Italian sports car. Plus it won’t break your bank. At just $15,995 it provides the best value in a custom-product motorcycle today.
The Model 1 is designed with no-nonsense and delivers everything you need. The engine is an EVO-based Harley that will never let you down and always deliver. The race-tuned Fat Cat exhaust from D&D was specifically developed for the Model 1 to deliver a fat power band where the rider needs it most.

The Model 1 is an outstanding motorcycle for just $15,995. Looks like Dar has a winner.
Your model 1 has the ultima 6 or 5 speed. Are you guys dealers and would the price not include TTL for the state of AZ. How difficult would it be to add forward controls?? 2 Inches should suffice as my legs are 36 inch inseam.
Hi Larry, The Model 1 comes with a 6 speed. We are not a Dealer. TTL would be additional for anyone quoting a retail price. You’ll need to contact Dar Holdsworth of Brass Balls Bobbers at 405-270-0995. THe Model 1 has become a run away best seller for the company and I think you will like it.
